Refund policy

Romitelli Canada West is an independent retailer of Romitelli boots and has independent policies that may differ from other Romitelli retailers. If you purchased through RCW, contact RCW directly for warranty, returns, or exchanges.

 

Warranty

All of our boots are guaranteed against defects in materials and workmanship for 6 months from the date of purchase. Warranty will not be applied in the case of boots treated with inappropriate products (such as glycerin) or showing extreme wear.

Returns and Exchanges - NEW BOOTS

RCW will accept returns on all standard sizes with standard colours, and standard sizes with custom colours or designs. 

For refunds, boots must never have been worn, must be in original packaging, and must be returned directly to RCW within 7 calendar days of receiving them. (Day 1 is the day you have your boots in-hand/delivery notification)

Returns and Exchanges - MADE TO MEASURE & SEMI CUSTOM

Made-to-Measure boots and semi-custom sizes are non-refundable.  If a made-to-measure boot is entirely the wrong size, following a second sizing appointment, we will reorder the boot once. The first order must be traded in, and RCW will retake ownership of the first pair. There will be no charge for the new order. If the subsequent order does not fit, a video call with the factory directly will be scheduled to determine where the measurements are going wrong. It will be up to RCW’s discretion if a reorder is possible.

Returns and Exchanges - USED BOOTS

Consignment and used boots are final sale. They are not covered by warranty and they are not eligible for return or exchange. If you do have any problems, we will do our best to assist you (such as sending new zippers, snaps, or insoles), however we cannot offer refunds, exchanges, or returns. Items that are non-refundable will be identified on their sale page.

Breaking in your Boots

Boots will generally take between 5 and 10 rides to break in comfortably. There may be some discomfort during this period but there should be no severe pain. Please contact us immediately if there are any concerns or questions. Water, heat, and other “shortcuts” can and will damage your boots. The best way to break in your boots is simply by wearing them.

Despite our zippers being the highest possible quality, they are still not stronger than leather! Thus, by nature, your zipper is the weakest part of your boots. Take care when zipping them up and get help for the first 5 to 10 times to make sure the leather is breaking in with the zipper aligned correctly. Zipper damage due to suspected improper care will not be covered under warranty.
